The Effingham Community Sports Center will put Effingham on themap as a place where sports leagues come to hold regionaltournaments. We will be on a level playing field with larger cities.because of our fantastic new Sports Center, nearby hotels,accessibility and small town hospitality.
The Effingham County Community Foundation has taken the lead inthe effort to create this facility for our community. The City ofEffingham will build it, and we will support its operating costs through a permanent Endowment Fund. We believe this is the ideal way to make sure that the Effingham Sports Center is viable, affordable and accessible to all who wish to use the facility, without creating an additional tax burden on our citizens.
Our goal is to raise $3 million for the Effingham Sports Center Endowment Fund. It is our hope that you share this exciting vision for our city, and wish to be a part of the future of Effingham by giving generously to the Endowment Fund.
